Description: Inv. 5683 Remington U.S. Model 1903-A3, Serial Number 40688XX. A real beauty, all parts are correct or matching. All bear the correct "R" stamp. The Parkerized parts are about 98% and appropriately blued and 98% original finish. The walnut, like the metal parts, show almost no use. There are a few minor nicks or dings. The pistol grip has the proper Circle P proof and a letter "B”...The right side of the stock is stamped FJA in a box for the inspector and "RA” for Remington Arms. The left side is also stamped OG and the right side has a rack number 60 in white paint, stenciled on. The front sight has the sight protector still intact and the buttplate is the proper trap door type. The bolt, bolt face, bolt rails and feed ramp show almost no wear. The bore is super bright. The rifling is extra sharp and crisp with no sign of use. The gun comes with one original U.S. canvassling. For the pickiest collector or the serious shooter.....$895.
