U.S. Remington 03-A3

Description:
This U.S.Remington 03-A3 was manufactured in 1944, and is 81 years old. I purchased this rifle from a private owner in Wallingford, Conn., in 1972. I test fired this Remington 03-A3 at the 100 yard line (from the bench) using standard military 30-'06 ball  ammo. I fired a five (5) shot group within the size of a nickel. I decided to keep it as an asset in my collection. The rifle has Lyman Gun Sights and a Timney Trigger. This is one of the most accurate rifles that I own. It has the military FJA marking on the stock. The previous owner had the stock checkered. This rifle can be used for target shooting or hunting. 
The reason I'm selling this rifle is health and old age. I'm 83 years old. I have owned this rifle for 53 years. The purchaser pays for shipping and insurance.
