Description:
This is a very good example of a U.S. Remington 03-A3 in very good to excellent condition. The previous owner took very good care of this rifle and used it for shooting service rifle matches occasionally. The receiver, which dates to 1944, has been drilled and tapped on the rear right for a peep sight. The receiver has also been drilled and tapped just forward of the bolt through the "M" in model and a screw has been placed in the hole. The front sight has a hood with a flaming bomb and U.S. stamped on the left side. The left side of the stock is stamped with the crossed cannon cartouche and RA-P stamped over with FJA. A bit forward on the stock are the letters RA. This would be an excellent rifle for shooting service rifle matches or to add a bit of history to your collection. .30-06 Springfield
