D2D has completed over 35,000 offerings during the past 22 years of business! We offer you a “RARE” First Year Production Remington Nylon Model 10 .22 Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle. This Remington Nylon Model 10 wears the 19 1/2 inch barrel and has an excellent bore with no issues. It wears the original sights as you can see which is not always the case. The metal finish is in fine condition with wear and light marks. The stock shows numerous marks, dings and scratches from use over the last 60 years. But it is solid with no cracks or repairs. The left side of the barrel is marked “RJ 34 22 SHORT, LONG OR LONG RIFLE”. The top of the barrel is marked “Remington”. The bottom of the grip cap is marked “REMINGTON / NYLON / 10”. The date code of “RJ” tells us the gun was manufactured in November of 1962. The Single Shot Nylon rifle was a low production which Remington only made from 1962 to 1964. They featured the Mohawk brown nylon stock, with white accents, chrome spoon style bolt handle with a safety that engaged automatically when opening the bolt. The rifle appears all original and complete which is nice to see after 60 years. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $50.
