Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster 99% Overall Condition, with beautiful Wood.
Description:
Beautiful Model 121 Remington Fieldmaster made in 1950. Stunning example. Wood finish appears completely original Finish as to receiver appears original, and the only part that looks as if it could have been re-blued is the barrel. I don't know for certain, as to that, but rifle is 74 years old and who knows. It was sold to me as original, and I jus thought the barrel lettering looked a little less crisp, but it is extremely slight. Also, why blue just the barrel? Oh well, I kept it as it is just lovely overall. Bolt is jeweled, and bore is perfect. Correct matte blue finish on trigger guard and tang. Also Correct sights. I grew up with my Dad's Fieldmaster, and it had been my Grandfather's. My Grandad always said Remington Rifles, and a shotguns from New Haven.. Well, i like a bunch of examples from both firms, but I did always prefer the 121 to the model 61, and I liked those also. Just thought the longer forend on the Fieldmaster made for a more attractive package. My opinion only. This is a lot of money, but if you can find a one this good for less, buy it. I will be the first to congratulate you, and I am most sincere as to those sentiments. No tax or other fees, just $50 to pack carefully and ship to your FFL via FedEx. Thanks for your interest, and please see my other ads.
