Remington Model 12CS 22 Rem Spl / 22 WRF Octagon Pump Rifle Nice Shape!
Description: Selling from my personal collection - Nice condition Remington Model 12CS, caliber 22 Rem Special which is the same as the 22 WRF found in the Winchester Models 1890 and 1906 among others. 24" octagon barrel, pump action, take down frame, walnut stocks, plain half-pistol grip, rifle butt with crescent butt plate, correct open sights, ribbed for arm, blued finish, hammerless action, tubular magazine, push button safety at trigger bow and push button slide release on bottom of magazine. These were made between 1912 and 1936. This one has a barrel date code of "DN" putting manufacture in September 1922. Butt stock is sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, typical usage marks, still tight and proud. Butt plate has correct Remington logo. Correct ribbed "corncob" fore arm has a 4" split on the underside (common) but again never sanded or refinished. Action is smooth and functions properly. Take down is tight with no wobble. Serial numbers match on frame and inside of receiver. Bore is very good plus. Safety button and slide release button both work as designed. Sights are original. Rear sight is missing the elevation adjustment screw. Barrel and receiver retain 60% original fine aged blue with no signs of touch-up. One of the harder calibers to find in the 12C series. TERMS: No international sales. No sales to Alaska or Hawaii. Must ship to FFL or C&R license holder (sales to New York State will go to an FFL ONLY, no exceptions).
