Description: Robert P Runge is a Remington Factory Master Engraver. This outstanding rifle has a blued barrel with ramped beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable island rear sight. A wedge of floral scroll engraving at the breech extend towards the muzzle. Mint bore. Mechanically excellent. Blued receiver has nearly full coverage floral engraving with games scenes on each side in semi-relief gold inlay. They consist of a grizzly bear at the front, a running mule deer buck in the center, and a mountain goat at the rear on the left side. The right side shows a cougar at the rear, a buggling elk in the center, and a bighorn ram at the front all in their respective environments. The receiver is signed by the engraver "RPR76" beneath the mule deer. Extra fancy checkered stock is in excellent condition retaining all of the glossy finish. A blank gold inlaid oval in the bottom of the buttstock. This rifle is in overall very fine condition showing little to no wear. The F grade Remington's are tremendous buys.
