Manufactured when Remington was still Remington in Illion NY in Sept of 1995. With Remington now sadly out of business it seems unlikely that one like this will ever be produced again. Made in one iteration or another since the late 1950's or very early 60's Rem pump deer rifles are found wherever knowledgable deer hunters gather.
