Description: Remington Model 14 1/2 Rifle in 44/40 cal. Most of these Remington 14 1/2's survive in grey or brown condition being "used hard and put away wet"....this gun is definately an exception retaining most of it's bright factory blue. Great sights. 22 1/2" barrel with bright excellent bore. Functions smoothly. Period correct sling swivels Very nice sound stock & forend.... uncracked & tight which is unusual for this model. Spot of heavy oxidation on toe of buttplate.... does not detract. Sharp markings. Gentle hunting wear, no abuse. Pictures represent the gun nicely but will be glad to answer any questions... email is usually the fastest way to reach me but calls will be answered in a timely manor.
