Remington Model 25 Pump Action .32-20 WCF Rifle Manufactured in February of 1929 C&R Ok Very Fine Bore
Description: We offer you a “Hard to Find” Remington Model 25 Pump Action .32-20 WCF rifle that was manufactured in February of 1929. The left side of the barrel is marked with the date code “LX” and with an inspection mark. The top of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., REMINGTON ILION WORKS, ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. / PEDERSEN’S PATENTS JANUARY 5, 1909. JULY 5, 1910 AND OTHERS PENDING” and “REMINGTON / TRADEMARK / 32 WCF”. The right side of the barrel is marked “REP” in an oval with two inspection marks. The left side of the receiver is marked “MODEL 25 / 17845”. It wears a 24 inch barrel that has a bright bore with no pitting and shallow rifling. The metal shows spots where surface rust was removed long ago. The bluing shows thinning freckling as shown. The forearm shows use marks with no cracks or chips and is in very fine condition. The butt stock shows equal use with a small chip at the upper tang along with a small crack. The take-down halves are marked with the same serial number and the butt stock and plate have matching assembly numbers as shown. This model has a unique loading gate that functions as is should with no issues. The action is tight and functions just fine. SALE PENDING!
