REMINGTON MODEL 25 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE - CAL. .32-20

Description:
Remington Model 25 Slide action rifle - Cal. .32 W (.32-20 ) - 24" Bbl. - SN 17XXX(1920s). Perfect bore with sharp, crisp rifing and no spotting or corrosion - perfect action with tight lock-up. Metal is excellent overall with 98% original blue and only slight wear on action slide and sharp edges of the stee;l buttplate - couple of light spots on receiver. Barrel marked with" Pederson Patents january 5, 1909 , July 5, 1910 and Others Pending", along with Remington Arms Co. Inc. markings. Wood is excellent and undamaged showing only a few light surface marks on the toe of the butt and no wear.. The front sight is possibly a period replacement bead style, but I am not certain of this. Overall, an exceptionallly nice and scarce old Remington M-25 in Excellent ++ condition and except for front sight, all original and showing only minimal use.
