Remington Model 572 Smooth Bore 22LR
Description: Also referred to as a 'Routledge Barrel', this rifle, according to the barrel markings, was made in 1965. As a Pump Action Rifle it was Intended to shoot 22LR Shotshells, it is sometimes called a 'Garden Gun' to address outdoor pests. One Remington forum indicates that perhaps only 500 of these Smooth Bore Rifles were made, yet this particular rifle has no serial number which probably makes it even more rare. Receiver is aluminum and up close shows typical minor blemishes due to field use. Buttstock has some superficial scratches, but overall Very Good Condition. Forearm wood is Pristine Condition and Barrel Blueing is Very Nice. Interior bore is crisp and clean. This Rifle is a True Collector Piece for Remington Enthusiasts because of the Smooth bore.
