Remington 24 .22 Short caliber rifle. Special grade with factory checkered upgrade fancy stock. This rifle has the empty cartridge reflector under the frame. This is a scarce model and is in excellent condition. Bore is mirror bright with perfect rifling. Gun has 98-99% blue. Checkering is original and excellent. Gun has a Remington folding rear sight and comes with an extra diopter. We have never seen a factory case for a model 24 but this may be one. Excellent quality work, lined in purple velvet (with some repair to the velvet at the muzzle and at the breech). Fits tight so the velvet frayed a bit. Comes with four-piece cleaning rod. Case key is fastened to a spring grip arrangement so as not to lose the key. “22-Short lesmok or smokeless” on barrel. All numbers are matching. In all a fine cased set and deluxe model 24 .22 Short.
