Description:
This is one of the best, (and earliest) Gallery Special Remington model 12-B rifles that I have ever encountered. These guns were built for the arcade entertainment industry from 1910 through the mid 50's. The model 12-B will only shoot the 22 SHORT cartdrige, and hold 14 rounds maximum. This is an early example built between 1910-1921, before barrel codes were used to determine production dates. This is a fine example of this short-shooter model, that did not get beat up in an arcade, but likely was privately owned, and well cared for. She carries 90-95% original blue, and nice original wood finish. The bore is bright, and would rate 8-9 out of 10, with strong rifling throughout. This one was built early enough in production, that 12-B is not recorded on the barrel script, as found on later examples. Action function, and the take-down feature work as designed. $1650.00 SHIPPED & INSURED through UPS, from an FFL on my end, to an FFL on yours, in the lower 48 states. Dan at (608) 751-7194.
