Remington Model 4, rolling block .22 long rifle. Take down model with octagon barrel. Clean, no corrosion, and fully functional with good rifling. The Kolpin case is included. There are scratches and minor dings on the wood, and a series of nicks along one angle of the octagon barrel as though the rifle had been regularly leaned against a hard stand. Someone may have rubbed new finish into the wood, and upon close inspection what looks at first like light scratches on the receiver are the initials R L F. I have rated this rifle overall as "fair" to avoid any possible disappointment, although a new owner may well conclude that "good" comes closer to the mark. I have also sought to thoroughly illustrate the rifle's various blemishes, but this is still a handsome little .22, from about 1919. I can ship it myself, but only to an authorized firearms dealer unless within the State of Washington. $450 including shipping within the continental US. Cashier's cheque or money order preferred.
