The Remington Model 8 was a John Browning design manufactured by Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Company. Barrel date is June of 1929. The Model 8 was primarily a sporting gun but also saw use from Police Departments. This gun is in very good overall condition. Wood is solid and tight with a couple light scratches on left shoulder. Stock is dimpled on both sides as if it had a cheek pad on or has been wrapped in material. Blue remains very good with wear on high contact places and edges. There are several light spots of oxidation and two areas on left side of barrel that are indented slightly. Bore is excellent! Neat old gun in a popular caliber! .35 Remington
