Limited Edition Engraved Remington Model 4 Diamond Anniversary semi-automatic rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. This is a limited addition of 1,500 Diamond Anniversary Model 4 rifles. The left side of the barrel is marked, "CUSTOM BUILT BY REMINGTON ARM CO. – ILION, NEW YORK–". The left side of the receiver is marked, "Remington Model Four / LE81-1267 / DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY". The left side of the receiver is engraved with floral scroll designs, gold bear and hunters in a canoe with gold scroll borders. The right side of the receiver has a gold "MODEL 8" and a gold banner marked, "1906 / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY / LIMITED EDITION / ONE OF FIFTEEN HUNDRED / 1981", and gold "MODEL FOUR". The bottom of the receiver has a Case-Head in front of the magazine marked, "R-P 30-06 SPRG". The front sight is a beaded blade sight dovetailed to a serrated ramp. The rear sight is a "U" notch fitting on a slider on a ramped base. The stocks are a two-piece checkered high grade walnut with a finger groove forend, steel nose cap, capped pistol grip, straight comb, and brown rubber Remington recoil pad.
