Remington model 81 Semi Auto rifle chambered in 30 REM. MANUFACTURED: LATE 1945. Rifle has bee re-blued at some point and stock and forend have been refinished as well. Barrel stamped REMINGTON ARMS-UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. REMINGTON WORKS. Last paten date is Feb. 14. 1911. light scratches on left side of receiver. Remington Trade Mark stamped on tang, Replacement WHITE LINE butt pad, has factory white bead front and buckhorn rear sights. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. A great shooting example of a wartime production semi auto sporting rifle. Ready for that November walk in the Whitetail Forest.
