not  sure  what  caliber  the  30 inch  1/2  octogan barel is //  bore  is  .40 inches///////  chamber  about  .40  inches/  bore is  a  pitted rust  bucket  may  be  traces  of  rifling /  the  action  works  fine lots  of  spring  action up  and  down  / this  would  make  a  good canditate  for  a  larger  caliber  rebore .  /blue  brown  patina  on  barrel // traces of  case  on  receiver  / this  gun has  a  few  factory  up  grades   half  octogan 30  inch  barrel / drilled  for  tang  sight  / barrei  is  1.16 inches  diameter  at  breach  may  be  extra  heavy/ ?/// rear  barrel  sight  missing  a  part///// a good solid  gun  with  good  markings /  the  stock is vg un  sanded   just  normal  wear  for  its  age with  lots  of  varnish/// serial  # 4876 under  barrel  and  at  end  of  handguard   /////number  on  receiver  not  visable  /////  $69 sh// the  metal  is  good  sharp edges on  barrel  and  action / rebounding  hammer with  good  blue  and  blue  on  trigger / looks  like they never  cleaned  barrel  bore
