Remington Rolling Block No 1 38-50
Description:
Up for sale is an early Remington Rolling Block commercial No 1. The finish has turned to a worn patina throughout as is visible in the pics. The bore is in great condition. The front sight has a homemade blade, and looks to have been installed over 120 years ago at least. The rear bbl sight is a Winchester sight that has been aged. The wood is beautiful and in great condition. Steel forend tip. This rifle chambers and fires 38-55, as do most 38-50's. The action is tight. Thinning my collection and this one can find another good and appreciative home. If the price is too high don't hesitate to make an offer.
