CASED REMINGTON Model 4 ROLLING BLOCK .32 RF TAKEDOWN Single Shot Rifle C&R Great Depression Era Homestead Rifle
Description: CASED REMINGTON Model 4 ROLLING BLOCK .32 RF TAKEDOWN Single Shot Rifle C&R Great Depression Era Homestead Rifle Here we present a Cased C&R Remington Rolling Block No. 4 “Takedown” Rifle in .32 Rimfire, made circa 1926 to 1933 in Ilion, New York with a production run between 1890 and 1933. Available calibers for this gun were .22 Rimfire, .25 Stevens, or .32 caliber and came with either a 22-1/2” or 24” barrel. Since this rifle is a “takedown” with a screw, it dates it between 1926 and 1933. In 1901 these rifles became “takedown” rifles using a lever as the takedown feature, then changing over to a takedown screw in 1926. This rifle is the classic “boy’s” rifle. It was also Remington’s smallest and lightest Rolling Block. Chambered for the .32 Rimfire cartridges, it was the plinker and the game-getter for many a youth. Being a single shot, it naturally instills the “make your one shot count” mentality from a young age. This example features a 22-1/2 inch octagonal barrel equipped with adjustable sights and a nifty carrying case. It is still a great rifle for a youngster to learn on today! The overall condition is very good. Original finish/patina. The action is excellent. The bore is in good condition with strong rifling. The stock is solid. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 22-1/2 inches. Caliber: .32 Short & Long Rimfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1200 #230589 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
