With too many items filling our racks we don’t have time to attend to fully  clean some of the items that are acquired. So we leave it  up to you to do so if inclined and offer this item as a monthly special.  This is also a Curio & Relic eligible item.
This specimen started out as a military Remington 1917 Enfield rifle made at the company’s Eddystone, Pennsylvania plant. After WWII these surplus rifles became available in the after market. Because they were so accurate many times the actions were placed in custom stocks for the sporting shooting enthusiasts. This is one of them. Serial number 887576 it is in very good condition. The stock has some minor soiling on it and should clean well. The bore is excellent as is the metal.
This should make a good target rifle and is offered for sale as a Curio & Relic rifle.
