Here is a very nice Remington #2 Rolling Block rifle chambered for 44-40 WCF. This is a very rare variation called a GEM rifle and has the early knife blade extractor. It is one of only 2000 made and they were the first #2 model variation made. This is serial number 360. It was likely made in 1872, the first year of production. This rifle started as a 32 RF and has been converted to centerfire and rebored to 44 WCF. The bore is very good, clean and shiny. I have one like this that I keep for personal use and they are super fun to shoot. The recoil is very mild and the report is quiet. Good for small game, targets, and even whitetail deer. This one is in excellent mechanical shape with a very good bore and should make a great shooter.  Thanks for looking!
