Remington 700, 7mm Magnum, Bolt-Action Rifle

Description:
Remington Model 700 7mm REM magnum, bolt-action rifle with a 26-inch stainless steel barrel and a black synthetic stock.  It has a factory-set trigger system for adjusting the trigger pull weight within a limited range.  The magazine has a hinged floor plate with the release at the front of the trigger guard.  The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a scope.  The total length of the rifle without the recoil pad is just over 45 inches.  Its total empty weight and with the scope is 8 pounds, 1 ounce.  Its length of pull without the recoil pad is 12 ½ inches.  The drop at the heel is about 1 ¼ inches.  The drop a the comb is slightly less than that.  Based the month/year date code of LZ on the left side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver, the year of manufacture is February 2021.  Accessories include the original Owner’s Manual and an a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50mm scope.  There are no box or other accessories.

This rifle and the Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50mm scope are in like-new condition - 100 percent, with one exception - the Remington recoil pad is badly deteriorated and is removed from the rifle.  The Soft Touch material used to make many components for guns, automobile interiors, and many other applications seems not to have held up very well.  Such components have turned sticky, and some have begun to disintegrate.  Aside from this one exception, the rifle and scope is in very excellent condition; it has no marks of any kind on the barrel, receiver, or stock.  There are no other signs of wear.  The rifle has had about four 20-round boxes fired through it.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash.  I will ship the rifle immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL.  I will also accept a personal check and other type money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.
