It has just enough wear to allow for another ding to be accepted without breaking a heart. Historically, the Woodsmaster was introduced in 1955. The barrel code dates to a year earlier, demonstrating the inaccuracy of dating by barrel code, but also showing this to be a very early release gun. .30-06 Springfield

Metal Condition: "Good. Blue wear around the muzzle. A small amount of pitting on the receiver, and a bit of ""blush"" rust on the left side.
Wood Condition: Good. There are a number of scratches from use but nothing severe.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling.
