Remington Model 550-1 -Semi - Auto - .22 Rifle - New factory original smooth stock and forend with new butt plate. Power piston floating chamber semi - auto action. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 20 Short , 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. New ejector shield as shown. Includes a new soft sleeve. This old girl was in such good shape mechanically that we had to restore her replacing the old cracked stock with a brand new original Remington factory stock with a beautiful tiger stripe fade to the wood. Overall condition is excellent. Operates great with both short and LR ammo. Manufactured from 1941 to 1971 . This one was manufactured in 1950. Restored and ready to go.
