REMINGTON MODEL 740 RIFLE .30-06 CAL (A PRE MODEL 742) - EXCELLENT

Description:

A very early Remington Semi Auto .30-06 Cal Rifle called the Model 740. Rifle is in excellent original condition, with a period Weaver K6 mounted on a Williams side mount. Scope mounts slightly to the left allowing use of iron sights. and this rifle also has the Williams receiver sight installed. Rifle has been properly fitted with a recoil pad, and period leather sling. Rifle has smooth uncheckered walnut stock and forend with about all the original finish. And, the whole outfit is in excellent plus overall condition. A very early Remington auto seldom seen today.
