Remington Model 4, .22 caliber, serial number J304411. The rolling block rifle is a single shot, and handles .22 short, long and long rifle. This is a takedown model with an octagon barrel, made in October of 1930. This Model 4 is in outstanding condition with 98% bluing coverage and features deep identification stampings. Bore is strong and the gun functions perfectly. The stock and forearm are in excellent condition. The metal butt-plate is original and shows moderate finish wear. It is marked “REMINGTON UMC TRADE MARK”. The top of the barrel is marked “Model 4”, “REMINGTON ARMS—UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO.,” “REMINGTON WORKS, ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A.”. “REMINGTON Trade Mark” appears after the rear sight. To complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL or C&R of choice for shipping purposes.
