Remington Rolling Block No. 4 rifle with octagon 22” barrel
Description: Earley Remington Rolling Block No. 4 rifle with octagon 22” barrel, solid frame. very good wood with lots of original finish. The metal is probably 90%, with very even patina I see no rust. Bore is clean, rifling is very visible, the mechanics are fine. This is a fine example of the gun made from 1890 to 1933 (serial #51242 out of about 356,000). It is marked "22" on the barrel bottom and takes a .22 Long cartridge. Put this in your collection as it has been in mine for over 40 years. We sold are shop we ran for 30 years and have a few personal items that I will be selling. This will be sent to an FFL for transfer. I have an FFL I can use to ship, but I also can send it directly to your FFL of choice if he allows, with a copy of my DL. Shipping will be 60.00 insured.
