"Extremely Rare A.R. Sales Co. Mark IV M14 Clone 7.62 NATO (L2026-06439)
Description:
"Serial no. 0063. Manufactured circa 1973 by A.R. Sales Co., chambered in 7.62 NATO, with a 22"" round barrel marked “TRW 7791362 4-66 BAC." The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The rifle remains in overall excellent condition, showing only minimal handling impressions on the stock. Built using genuine U.S.G.I. components, the Mark IV represents one of the earliest commercial M14-type rifles produced for the civilian market. A particularly desirable feature is the Vietnam-era TRW barrel dated April 1966. TRW Inc. was widely regarded as one of the premier M14 contractors, producing some of the finest components used in military M14 production. With an estimated production of only approximately 225 rifles, A.R. Sales Co. Mark IV rifles are exceptionally scarce and seldom encountered on today's collector market. Their limited production, extensive use of U.S.G.I. parts, and status as an early civilian M14 clone make them highly sought after. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
