17414 Lonestar Rolling Block Rifle

Description:
Replica of the Remington No. 1 Sporting Rifle made by Lonestar Rifle Company of Texas (Dave Higginbotham).  It is in .45/90 caliber with a heavy 34" octagonal barrel.  The barrel has high gloss blue finish overall with no wear.  The top of the barrel has been drilled and tapped for scope blocks.  Scope blocks for this rifle are included. The barrel front sight is hooded.  Nodovetail is present on the barrelfor rear sight. Has rear long range sight. The frame has all of the original color casehardening remaining as does the triggergaurd.  Double set triggers are present.  The hammer and breechblock are each blued as are the action pins and screws.  Walnut forend is mounted with a color casehardened steel nosecap.  The pistol grip buttstock is mounted with a checkered steel buttplate which is also color casehardened.  The stock has nice figure and is beautifully finished and fitted to the action.  Overall condition is about new.  It comes in a custom hard case with canvas case cover.  Modern long gun rules apply.
