Harrington & Richardson Centennial U.S. Model 1873 Springfield Rifle, Cal. .45-70

Description:
Made in 1971 this is the Harrington & Richardson Officers Model Springfield Rifle Model 1873 Centennial, made to commemorate 100 years of the rifle.  The rifle is fitted with a 26 inch round barrel, tang sight, brass bead front sight, is blue/color case hardened finished, roll engraved butt-plate, hammer, lock, trigger guard, upper tang, frame, and breech block, and is chambered in 45-70.  The checkered walnut stock is fitted with a pewter tip, steel carbine style butt-plate, tang sight, and commemorative brass plaque stamped "Officer's Model Springfield Rifle", "Harrington & Richardson Centennial", & "1871-1971".  The rifle appears unfired and is in excellent condition, with only some handling marks on the stock next to the butt-plate keeping it from as new condition.  The bore looks as new and the action functions the same.  Sorry, no box or paper-work.                                                                CURIO & RELIC
