Handsome, heavy English pattern magazine rifle in a cool caliber. Professional quality fit and finish, but no makers name visible, even inside the stock. 26-1/2" barrel, excellent bore, with Hoffman Arms style quarter rib and express sight. 14-1/4" pull over leather covered pad. Weight 10#7oz empty. Customized and smoothed-up Gew 98 receiver, with Birmigham nitro proof stamp. Aftermarket custom bottom metal with ser# 5657 on the trigger bow.
