For sale is a Heym Express Royal PLUS / Custom chambered in .416 Rigby, proofed in October 1997 at the Suhl Proof House (Germany).

The rifle is built on the original Mauser 98 Magnum action and was specifically designed for hunting dangerous game. It combines exceptional reliability with outstanding German craftsmanship.

The rifle is in excellent, well-maintained condition. The barrel, action, and stock show only minor signs of use consistent with its age.

A particular highlight is the engraving. The rifle features elegant arabesque scroll engraving with gold inlays. The floorplate is adorned with a finely executed Bulino-style engraving of a bull elephant. All engraving was executed by the renowned German master engraver Michael Richter and is signed "M. Richter."

The stock is made from high-quality walnut with beautiful figure. The leather-covered recoil pad further emphasizes the rifle's classic safari appearance.

The rifle is fitted with an original EAW quick-detachable swing mount featuring engraved 30 mm rings with gold inlays. It is equipped with a Zeiss Diavari 1.5–6×42 riflescope. The original Heym hard case is included in the sale.
