Model- 25 - J.C.Higgins - .22 LR. Semi-Auto - Tubular magazine holding 15 rds. of LR. Barrel 22.25 in. lg. , overall lgth. 44.50 in. Wgt. 5.8 lbs.- Smooth stock w/ Monte Carlo style pistol grip. Front sight brass bead w/serrated ramp, rear sight open adj. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver retain about 85% -90% bluing. Butt pad is very good . These rifles were produced by High-Standard. This one is very early as it has both the J.C.Higgins and the Sears model numbers ( 583-2500 ) stamped on barrel. Stock and barrel have a few very minor handling marks. These were produced from 1959 - 1967 . Overall condition is very good for it's age.
All of our rifles have been cleaned and lubricated but NOT test fired. We can ship to your C&R or FFL dealer at additional charge.
