Wood: French Walnut with European style cheekpiece Type of Finish: Blue Finish Originality: Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright and shiny; the rifling is sharp and deep. There is no visible erosion. Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The barrel and trigger guard show no scratches. The markings are deep. It has double set triggers, Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus to Excellent Condition especially when considering its age. Mechanics: The mechanics function correctly. We have not test-fired this rifle. Assessment: Krico is the brand name of the German firm of Kriegeskorte GmbH. The company has a long history dating back to 1878, but their rifle production was halted in 1988 because it was no longer possible for them to produce the very accurate and well-made quality rifles at affordable pices which Krico was known for. This rifle is a great investment or a beautiful rifle to hunt with. Especially deer and other small game animals with very little recoil. Ideal for youth and/or female hunters.
