Martin Kruschitz (Ferlach) Custom Engraved Mauser 30-06 Scoped

Description:
Handy bespoke rifle on a commercial (banner) Mauser large ring action, made in Austria in 1949 by Kruschitz, unusually in 30-06. Functioning double set triggers, shotgun trigger bow, extended tang with shotgun safety, butterknife bolt handle, integral full matted rib on half octagon barrel with integral muzzle brake and excellent bore. Rear sight blanked in favor of a scarce Stith Kollmorgen 4 double scope w superfine xhair and dot reticle, in a Pachmayr swing side mount. Front sight intact. Stock has beatifully cut skipline checkering, horn grip cap and serrated buttplate. All metal surfaces extensively and skillfully engraved with silver highlights, game scene on bottom metal, retaining almost all of the blued finish. Narrow sling in fine shape. 7 1/2lb, most unusual and pleasing.
