Gorgeous German Falling Block Single Shot Rifle in .225 Winchester with a Lyman Super Targetspot 16x Scope
Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “Restored” German falling block Single Shot Rifle chambered in .225 Winchester with a Lyman Super Targetspot 16x scope. From the notes that were found in the estate on this rifle it was completed in 1964. No other information is known. There are no manufacturer markings on the gun. The only markings that can be seen are a “Crown/N over Eagle” proof on the block and the lever being marked “270”. With the barrel marked with the caliber “225 WIN.”. It is a drop block action design and wears double set triggers with a safety lever on the right side. The double set triggers function just fine as does the safety lever. The lever snaps into place with no movement in the block when closed. It wears a 26 ½ inch barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. It has a full matted flat rib on top with the finish being in excellent condition. Both stocks are in excellent condition with no issues. It has a L.O.P. over the skeleton butt plate of 13 5/8 inches. The butt plate is an unusual design and might be original to the rifle. On top is a 16 power Lyman Super Targetspot scope with fine crosshairs that is in excellent condition with clean and clear optics inside and out. It functions just fine with the windage knob being stiff to turn. Overall this is an excellent and unusual rifle that would look great in any collection. SALE PENDING!
