Description: SALE PENDING CLAUDE N. TX. 6/27/23 DIANA OR MEISTER GRADE ....Magnicently engraved with both goddess and god and full coverage deep relief engraving. It is in extraordinary condtion and was rechamberd from some obscure 8mm to 32 Winchester Special. It includes the exceptional Rochester NY Made Bausch and Lomb Balvar 8x24 x AO, the euivalent to the best and most powerful Unertl's. Scope has some specs but is clear and bright with tapered ch. Conditon of all (elegantlay shaped stock) wood and metal is not far from new and it is clear this gun was cherished and lovinggly cared for It sports a falling block action designed byt Carl Willaim Aydt who worked for CG Haenel and who died in 1923. The patent dates to 1885 but these fine guns were made until just prior to WW11 (and most were brought back by returning Gi's) so we are unsure of the actural date of manufacturer; clearly ok for C&R but cannot be confirmed as "Antique" Shutzen rilfes are not uncommon however it is very rare to find one in this high grade fully engraved and in this conditon This gun would be a blast to take to the range or to simply admire Adjustable double set triggers work perfeclty with light clean let off The thumb rest that protrudes from the stock had dried and separated; we repaired it here using only glue.
