Double rifle chambered for the .500/416 NE cartridge with extra 20-Gauge shotgun barrel set. The 23-3/4" blued rifled steel barrels are fitted with extractors, Purdey style concealed rib extension third fastener, an unmarked white lined standing rear sight dovetailed into the machined matte quarter rib, ramped brass tipped blade front sight, and stud for sling on underside of the barrel. The left barrel is roll marked: "READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. IF NOT AVAILABLE CONTACT KRIEGHOFF // USE FACTORY LOADED AMMUNITION ONLY // KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE PA". The 28" shotgun barrel set is fitted with extractors, Purdey style concealed rib extension third fastener, 3" chambers, tapered flat top, machined matte rib, Bradley style white bead front sight and middle brass bead and stud for sling on underside of the barrel. The left barrel is roll marked: "READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. IF NOT AVAILABLE CONTACT KRIEGHOFF // USE FACTORY LOADED AMMUNITION ONLY // KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE PA". The nickel plated finished boxlock receiver is adorned with light coverage English Arabesque scrolls with "KRIEGHOFF CLASSIC" on bottom of the action body. The boxlock non-ejector action is fitted with a Kickspanner manual cocking device, reinforced sidewalls for extra strength, sliding, self-adjusting wedge for secure bolting, broad, massive underlugs to withstand wear and provide optimal seating of the underlug in the action, short opening angle for fast, easy loading, virtually horizontal firing pin placement for error-free firing and fast lock-time, double triggers with the front hinged and protected by a blacked trigger guard. The top strap over comb has a red dot behind the Kickspanner manual cocking device. Nicely figured reddish-brown walnut stock fitted with a pistol hand grip, beaded (shadow line) pancake cheekpiece, point pattern checkering with borders and inlaid stud for sling on toe-line. Similarly checkered semi-beavertail fore-ends with tulip tips and Deeley style lever releases. 14-3/4" LOP over a 1/2" Wegu "Elastic Schapkappe" solid black rubber recoil pad. 10 Lbs. - 12 Oz. with rifle barrels and 8 Lbs. - 2 Oz. with shotgun barrels. The gun resides in a Krieghoff aluminum trunk case.
