Description: Beautiful Joe Smithson 416 Rigby bolt action repeater built on a Granite Mountain Arms action. S/N 0086. 24” barrel and 10.3 lbs without scope (11.5 lbs w/ scope & rings). It includes a Schmidt & Bender 1.25-4 FFP scope in Joe's quick detach rings. Length of pull is 14”. 3+1 capacity with hinged floorplate. I’m selling this for my client who purchased this rifle brand new from Joe Smithson around 2009 and didn't take it on any safaris. It has been fired less than 50 rounds. Joe builds less than 10 rifles per year and he builds among the best Safari grade bolt action rifles. The condition of the rifle is excellent – see photos. The bore is clean with sharp rifling.
