Description:
Scarce firearm, especially in this condition. And should be able to take down any animal on earth, including those from the Jurassic period. I picked it up a couple years ago, it was described as being as close to new condition as one can get but could not be verified as new. I feel confident in that description. It went straight to my safe and has been there ever since. I bought a box of ammo for it but after comparing one of the cartridges to my 7mm Mag and seeing it dwarfed I haven’t been able to work up enough nerve to shoot it, so I am going to let it go. I can’t find much of anything for notable wear. There is a scant amount of high edge wear on the inner release of the action lever that I can’t see by natural eyesight but shows up in a high-res photo, and there is a scant amount of wear at the front of the trigger guard where the lever slides over it. Rest of the bluing is perfect. The rear sight blade is not installed. My guess is that it was removed by former owner in adding a scope. I see a few tiny very faint marks on the base. I have the rear sight blade, it will be included with the sling swivels which were in the box. 24” Heavy barrel, bore appears factory new. Muzzle end still looks new. I don’t see a single definite handling mark anywhere on the stock. All I notice is a pinprick spot that looks like a natural imperfection in the wood to me, I included a photo to the ad, you be the judge. As also shown in the photos, the stock has a stunning woodgrain pattern to it. Henry walnut forend. Red recoil pad really sets it off. Comes with original box which is still in decent shape. I can provide numerous photos to a SERIOUS buyer. Terms are as per this Description section and our correspondence. Cash only for Local sale. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Neb Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID, just like it's done at the awk-she-uns/shows. Neb Concealed Carry Permit works as well. If you are from out of state but can make the drive, there is an FFL in Lincoln that will do the transfer for 25 bucks. I will ship to an FFL. If you do not have your own FFL you must contact your FFL provider and ensure that they will accept firearms for transfer that come from a private individual like me that does not have an FFL. I can provide them a copy of my ID. I will also need contact info for your receiving FFL so that I can arrange shipping with them. If shipping, payment for the firearm and shipping combined is by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY. Shipping is to only the lower 48 and is a flat fee of 80 dollars due to insurance and having to package the original box within a larger shipping box.
