Developed by Henry"s Special Products Division, the SPD HUSH Series is a purpose?built lever?action rifle designed for suppressed shooting. It retains the natural feel and fast handling of a lever gun while reducing weight forward of the receiver so that a suppressor does not upset the balance. The rifle uses a match?grade 416R stainless steel barrel wrapped in tension?loaded carbon fiber to improve cooling and accuracy while keeping weight low. A skeletonized aluminum forearm with M?LOK slots and a forged carbon?fiber Picatinny rail provide mounting for accessories and optics. The dark?gray laminate buttstock is hollowed to reduce weight and fitted with checkering and a rubber recoil pad. Depending on caliber, specifications include a 16.5?inch barrel, 35.25?inch overall length, about 7?pound weight, and threaded muzzle. The rifles are made in Wisconsin and backed by Henry"s lifetime warranty.
