Shilen Rifles 7mm Rem. Mag. DGA-M or a Damn Good Action – Magnum.

A proprietary push feed action that is machined with a flat bottom, Remington style ring recoil lug, Remington style rocker safety and Shilen box type trigger. Sculpted Redfield style two piece rotary bases w/ High – 1” rings.

The action has angled shoulders that complement the hand struck, 24” octagon Shilen barrel that measures 25 ½” over the muzzle brake. The barrel is engraved with the caliber on the left side and “Custom built for Jimmy Garrett” on the right side.

The barrel and action are stocked in a highly figured piece of Bird’s Eye Maple w/ a RH Monte Carlo cheekpiece, point pattern panel checkering on the grip and forearm w/ an Ebony forend tip, ball swivel studs, a checkered solid steel grip cap, steel guard bow, a blind magazine, and a 13 12/” LOP over a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.

Rifle weighs 9 lbs. 6 oz. and is 98% overall showing very little signs of use or handling.
