Smith Corona 03A3 Sporter in 25-06
Description: Smith Corona 03A3 Sporter in 25-06 The rifle was originally a Smith Corona 03A3 Military Bolt Action rifle that was manufactured toward the end of WW2. It was sporterized probably sometime in the 1960's. The rifle retains the original 03A3 action but was re-barreled with a new blue steel round barrel in 25-06 Remington. It has walnut stock with a rubber recoil pad and has adjustable barrel sight and ramp bead front sight. It has a Weaver V7 Rifle Scope USA ~Steel Tube~ 2.5x7x mounted on the rifle. Condition: The condition of this sporterized 03A3 is very good overall. The wood is in decent shape and shows some dings and dents from use. The blue finish is also in good shape there is some finish loss on barrel toward the end probably from poor storage. It has fitted to it a very nice vintage Weaver V7 Rifle Scope Steel Tube~ 2.5x7x which is in very nice shape with a clear crisp view. This rifle appears to be made up into a deer rifle although 25-06 has been used for varmints too.
