Top of frame stamped “40/90” and “BULLARD REPEATING ARMS COMPANY/SPRINGFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. JULY 6, 1886”. Scarce two take down screw large frame Off-Hand model with factory special order extra grade walnut checkered pistol grip and cheek rest stock with Bullard hard rubber logo butt plate. Rare Bullard checkered single adjustable trigger. Checkered forend that has had the wood on both sides reduced about a half inch. Otherwise excellent retaining 95% original blue and all the original finish on the wood. Near mint brilliant bore and perfect working order.
