Up for sale is a Taylor's & Company 1886 Ridge Runner Takedown Rifle chambered in .45-70 Government. This lever action rifle is in excellent used condition and represents a modern take on the classic 1886 design by John Browning.
This rifle features a matte black finish, black textured walnut stock and forend, half octagonal barrel, and modern sighting system including a Skinner peep/Weaver rail rear sight and a fiber optic front sight. It is equipped with a muzzle brake (threaded 5/8x24) and includes a threaded cap if the brake is not used.
The take down action follows the traditional interrupted thread design, allowing the barrel and receiver to separate quickly for transport or storage.
