High Grade wood accentuates this beautiful Winchester.  The 1895 was designed for heavy caliber hunting and was proclaimed by Theodore Roosevelt as  "The Winchester stocked and sighted to suit myself is by all odds the best weapon I ever had, and I now use it almost exclusively ... .”  While Roosevelt's guun was chambered in .405 Win, this one is chambered for .30-06, a great modern hunting caliber.

The rifle is brand new and still in the original box.  It has never been fired.
