Stunning Standard Arms Model M Pump Action Rifle
Description: This is a stunning Standard Arms Model M rifle, manufactured in 1910 and chambered in .30 Remington. Designed and patented by Morris F. Smith, less than 6,000 of the Model M were produced, and less than half of those featured the longer 25" barrel found here. This example is a particularly scarce special order deluxe version, with color case hardened receiver, Circassian walnut stock, and folding dual aperture peep sight. The receiver was machined from a solid block of steel. Lyman blade front sight and Japanned bronze alloy forearm and buttplate. The rifle has retained nearly all of its original finish, with just some minor handling marks on the bronze forearm and a bit of thinning on the metal below from the slide action. An area of wear on the bottom of the barrel where the front band attaches. Stock is in great condition overall, but it does have a small repaired crack which is nearly impossible to see, and a few minor handling marks. Bore has pronounced rifling, but is heavily frosted throughout. Price: $2,395.00 Curio/Relic: Yes Rifle Caliber: .30 Remington Contact Seller |
