#T5634, Westley Richards & Co., London: A Nice Full Size 470" Nitro Express Westley Richards Boxlock Extractor with Rib Extension Dolls Head Third Bite Made in 1913, Original 26" Shoe Lump Extractor Barrels, Barrels by Harry Lilly and so initialed, 75 cordite nitro proved with a 500 grain bullet, Full length rib with 1 standing & 4 folding rear sights, Double triggers, Bushed strikers, Nice wood with very good color, Shadowline cheekpiece, Horn grip cap, Deeley & Edge forend release, 14 1/8" LOP over a 7/8" pad, Proper big bore weight at 12 lbs. 3 oz., 85% coverage of Tiger Scene engraving, This piece was completely redone by Westley Richards and exported to the Westley Agency in Bozeman, Montana, Since the total re-do it retains 98% blue, The butt and forend at 98%, The checkering at 100%, The bores are excellent and not a pit to be had with sharp rifling the entire way, This piece is tight with a lot of bite remaining. This big guy is an accurate rifle and will put 4 shots into 2" at 50 yards. There is a small piece of wood replaced at the nose of the comb but is professionally done. Here is a tough-go-to-work double that will stay together at 12 lbs. 3 oz. Most English doubles in this caliber from this period are less than 11 lbs. and they do not stay on the face as long.
